Girls Leaders Need You – Volunteer Today!
A few hours a week or just an hour a year, the time you spend as a Girl Scout volunteer – in whichever way you can help – makes a significant contribution to the leadership development of girls, the Northeast Texas Council, and your community!
Volunteers are the backbone of Girl Scouts grassroots organization. You make it possible to provide the enriching quality programs and activities that inspire girls to build self-esteem and life and leadership skills that will serve them all their lives.
Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas volunteers are part of a supportive family, currently roughly 16,000 strong with over 7,500 active registered volunteers, from all walks of life including stay-at-home and working parents and guardians, grandparents, retirees, college students, and business professionals.
As you help girls grow to become confident woman leaders, the Girl Scout volunteer experience offers opportunities for you: to improve your own confidence, public speaking, career, and problem-solving skills; to meet new people and forge new friendships; and to share in meaningful projects that promote civic responsibility and uplift your community.
Adults 18 years of age or older can become Girl Scout adult members and volunteers.
