Girl Scout Troop Camp Patches

Girl Scout Troop Camping Patch
Designed for Girl Scout Troops who have camped at Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas camp sites. Consists of basic patch and segments that represent each council camp site. May be purchased at the Northeast Texas Shops.

 

TLC Camper Patch
Girl Scout campers may earn the TLC Camper patch when they (1) demonstrate "tender loving care" for council camp grounds, equipment and facilities; and (2) satisfactorily complete the Camp Site Check-Out List. The site coordinator will verify completion of TLC requirements. TLC Camp patches may be purchased at the Northeast Texas Shops when troop copy of report is presented.

 

Camp Project Partner Patch
Received for doing a special camp service project on any Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Camp Site. Project must be prearranged with the site manager and completion verified by the site coordinator. May be purchased at the Northeast Texas Shops when Girl Scout Troop copy of the camp report is presented.

 

Polar Bear Award
Camping in tents when temperature reaches 32 degrees or below. Can be earned by camping in primitive areas on any Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas camp site, in Tent Units or when tent camping at a Council approved site. The site coordinator will verify the temperature. May be purchased at the Northeast Texas Shops when Girl Scout Troop copy of camp report is presented.

 

Outdoor Program Progressive Patches
Visit Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas's camps and earn this 5-part Totem Pole patch. Complete one of the activities listed below and earn a piece of the totem pole. Activities do not have to be earned in this order. Do all five activities to complete your Totem Pole Patch. Patches may be purchased from the Northeast Texas Shops.
Activity 1: Cabin Camping
Activity 2: Tent Camping
Activity 3: Outdoor Cooking
Activity 4: Night Hiking
Activity 5: Backpacking
