About Camp Rocky Point
Camp Rocky Point is located on a peninsula at Lake Texoma. The camp is about 60 acres near Denison, Texas. It was first established as a Girl Scout camp in 1952.
Camp Rocky Point has 4 units, each with 6-7 platform tents and unit shelters with heating and A/C and bathhouses with hot water. Besides camping in platform tents and primitive camping, the waterfront on Lake Texoma provides a site ideal for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and sailing. There is also a sports/games area as well as hiking trails.
