Girls will make memories of a lifetime as they experience life on a college campus, participate in fun, hands on experiments, and get an exclusive behind the scenes tours of top companies in the area. Girls will get to network with amazing professionals who love what they do and want to help others find their perfect career as they meet other girls and explore STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers.

To secure your spot, complete the
registration form and send it in with your $50 deposit.
NOTE: If you think your daughter/troop is interested, send in the deposit and registration form as we normally do not qualify anyone at 100%. If you decide later that you are not able to afford the event when you find out how much you qualify for, GSNETX will be able to refund your $50 deposit as long as we receive a written request at least a month in advance.
Cadettes (entering 7th-8th grades only): Girls will complete the BREATHE Journey (minus their Take Action project) through on campus programs and offsite fieldtrips which integrate STEM and fun. Girls can develop relationships that will last a lifetime and develop a plan for success through this fun week. This is a great way for girls to earn the prerequisite for their Silver Award in an exciting and creative way!!
Seniors/Ambassadors (entering 9th-12th grades): Girls will also complete activities from either the Sow What or Mission Sisterhood Journey, as potentially part of their prerequisites for the GS Gold Award. Girls will also have the opportunity to select a "major" to focus their STEM classes during College Journey. By the end of the week girls will know if they dare to dream big, they can accomplish anything they set their mind to! THIS WEEK IS SPONSORED BY TEXAS INSTRUMENTS
The goal of College Journey is to give girls in grades an opportunity to learn about professional opportunities in STEM careers that are available to them and inspire them to embark on paths that will be instrumental in helping them achieve their own educational and career goals, while building a brighter tomorrow for us all!
Through College Journey’s 5-day workshops located the University of Texas - Dallas, girls will be mentored by successful STEM professionals currently working in STEM careers, be exposed to a range of STEM related coursework, and receive training on professional skills. The College Journey program is designed to not only to give girls the opportunity to visualize themselves pursuing and achieving goals in higher education and/or successful STEM careers, but it instills in them the confidence and gives them the tools to make their future dreams a reality.
Girls will imagine having a career that lets them be creative, active, well-paid and change the world for the better through hands on, interactive curriculum based activities facilitated by STEM role models. Utilizing the GS Journeys, girls will explore a variety of STEM careers including electrical engineering, chemical engineering, computer science, and much more.
