The Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas will celebrate its 100th anniversary by honoring three Centennial Women of Distinction — Peggy Sewell, Sally Hoglund and Matrice Ellis-Kirk — at a gala Sept. 22 at Fair Park.

A science, technology, engineering and math program sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas has taken residence at UT-Dallas this week, and 72 high school girls are reaping the benefits.

Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas (GSNETX) will welcome Girl Scouts entering ninth - 12th–grade to experience life on a college campus through "College Journey – Teaming for Tomorrow" July 15-20, 2012 at the University of Texas at Dallas.
