Colleen Walker
Chief Executive Officer
Colleen is a 2000 graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, and has devoted her career to the promotion of education and programs that assist youth. Before joining GSNETX, she served as President of Education is Freedom. Colleen founded and served as Executive Director for Engineers of Dreams, a non-profit organization that encouraged more than 60,000 high school students in Texas, Colorado and Louisiana to pursue careers in technical fields. She also found success in a variety of business and planning positions with Neiman Marcus, the University of Colorado and Energy Service Associates. She served as Miss Colorado in 1991, competed for Miss America in 1992 and received $14,000 in scholarships which she used to help fund her engineering degree.
Jennifer Bartkowski
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Jennifer Bartkowski serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, overseeing the fund development, marketing and communications. programs, adult education and the cookie program for the 32-county organization. Before joining Girl Scouts in 2009, Jennifer served as the Senior Vice President of Workplace Campaigns for United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, responsible for leading an annual campaign of more than $50 million. Jennifer’s career began after receiving a Master of Public Administration, with a nonprofit management focus, at Texas A&M University. She has worked with a variety of organizations including the American Lung Association of Texas, United Way/Capital Area, private start-up Charitygift, and as an independent consultant. Jennifer is the mother of two children, including a Girl Scout Brownie and is the proud recipient of the Girl Scout Silver Award.
Debbie Roling
Chief Administrative Officer
Debbie came to Girl Scouts in October 2004. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Louisville. Her prior work experience includes international financial reporting at YUM Brands, and accounting, internal audit, planning, business development, and market research responsibilities at LG&E Energy.
