Equestrian Programs

Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas is proud of its renowned equestrian program, led by certified equestrian director Brady Brownlow at Camp Bette Perot in Palestine, Texas. Through the GSNETX Equestrian Program, girls as young as 6 have the opportunity to participate in horse riding programs and earn Girl Scout patches, try-its and badges. Additionally, girls have the opportunity to join the Tejas Riders, a group of outstanding Girl Scouts who have advanced equestrian skills and represent GSNETX at events like the Mesquite Rodeo, the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo and many more.
