The Girl Scout Bronze Award

The Girl Scout Bronze Award is the highest award a Girl Scout Junior can earn. The Girl Scout Bronze Award requires the Girl Scout to learn the leadership and planning skills necessary to follow through on a project that makes a positive impact on her community. Working towards the Girl Scout Bronze Award demonstrates her commitment to helping others, improving her community and the world, and becoming the best she can be.

Tips for the Girl Scout Bronze Award

Follow all national and council guidelines for fund raising.
Follow all guidelines in the Volunteer Essentials and Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Document personal work and hours put into the Take Action project.
Choose only a new service project to fulfill requirements. Don't use a project already completed.

Receiving the Girl Scout Bronze Award

After Girl Scout Juniors have completed all requirements to earn the Girl Scout Bronze Award, they should complete the Girl Scout Bronze Award Report Form. Once the form has been completed, please take it to any of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Shops. The completed form will allow you to purchase the Girl Scout Bronze Award pins for your Girl Scout Juniors. The completed form will then be forwarded to the Business Services department for entry into each Girl Scout Junior’s membership database record.
