Girl Scout Brownie, Kamryn Williamson, recently got the opportunity of a lifetime! She was lucky enough to throw out the first pitch at a Texas Rangers vs. Boston Red Sox baseball game. The 8-year old from Red Oak and her family are huge Rangers fans so this experience was very special to them. Kamryn got this opportunity by achieving a very impressive goal—she was the top Girl Scout Brownie cookie seller for the 2011 season. Kamryn sold an astonishing 2,303 packages of Girl Scout cookies!

Kamryn is a member of Girl Scout troop 1254 and has been a Girl Scout for three years. She loved selling Girl Scout cookies and initially set her goal at 1,000 packages but quickly exceeded that goal. In addition to her Texas Rangers experience, Kamryn will get to attend Super Xtreme Team and Diva events- including a trip to Great Wolf Lodge, a spa day, and delicious dinner. Quite the treats for a hard-working Girl Scout!

Kamryn loves being a Girl Scout. In addition to selling cookies, some of Kamryn’s favorite Girl Scout activities include fun activities like Rangers and Mavs games and trips to the zoo.
