The Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Alumnae Association is a great place to reconnect to the largest women’s leadership network in the country. Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas officially launched the Alumnae Association at the 2010 Real Girl Real Women Luncheon on October 12, 2010 at the Hilton Anatole Dallas, Texas.

Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison		Kit Addleman Rani Garcia is Senior Counsel, Employment at Ericsson Inc., where she provides legal advice and training to management and Human Resources on labor and employment matters. Previously, Rani was Associate General Counsel for a leading specialty retailer of fine jewelry and Counsel in the Labor Section of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Rani is the author of the “Employee Records” chapter in Texas Employment Law, and is a featured speaker on employment law topics. Rani is an advocate for women and families and has been honored for her outstanding service on the Board of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas and for her support of breastfeeding mothers in the workplace. Rani received her B.A. with highest honors in 1992 and her J.D. in 1995 from the University of Texas, where she was chosen as the Outstanding Woman Law Graduate. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas. Rani is excited to lead the Alumni Association of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas in its inaugural year. She is a Gold Award Girl Scout and her family is actively involved in Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
