Girl Scout Leadership Institute (GSLI): The GSLI, which overlaps with the National Council Session, will be held on November 10-13, 2011 in Houston, Texas. The theme is: Leadership and Innovationā¦the Next 100 Years. Girls 13 and older can participate as part of an integrated track within the National Convention. GSLI will begin on Thursday morning and culminate on Sunday morning. GSLI participants will be included in the National Convention Opening Ceremony on as well as other convention related events. As scheduling permits, girl delegates will be welcome to attend GSLI activities Thursday through Sunday.
Each Girl Scout council will be allotted 10 slots for girl members with each council managing their own girl selection process. Limited space will be allotted to adult members who will serve as chaperones. Councils are asked to register their girls and chaperones by June 1, 2011, after which additional slots may be offered to interested councils. Additional information will be available after the first of the year.

Important Information for Attendees GSLI Adult Chaperone
The Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas is seeking one chaperone to for the Girl Scout Leadership Institute (GSLI). Applicants must be at least 18 and be a current GSNETX adult member.
