Girls can enjoy overnight outdoor adventures at three properties: Camp Bette Perot, Camp Gambill and Camp Rocky Point. Lodging at these locations range from platform tents to air-conditioned cabins. Session grade levels shown are for the grades girls will enter in the 2017-2018 school year.

Do you love taking care of animals or have ever thought about how cool it would be to be a veterinarian? You will gain insight into these types of careers as you meet guest speakers who work with animals such as a veteranarian and a vet tech. Enjoy hands-on activities related to daily horse care, treating minor horse injuries, and preventative care such as vaccinations. Spend time in the saddle in both arena classes and on trail rides. You'll also have time to swim and practice archery with your camp friends!


June 18 - 23 Horses! Horses! Horses! $450

Spend part of your summer at camp learning all about horses, how to take care of them, and practicing your riding skills! You'll participate in both arena classes and trail rides while earning your Junior Horseback Riding badge. You'll also get to go swimming, tie-dye a shirt, and try archery!


June 18 - 23 Ride & Climb $420

Spend time two days improving your riding in an arena class and two days seeing camp while on a horseback trail ride. Hear your new camp friends cheer you on as you strive to reach the top of the rock wall and then enjoy the thrill of the zip line! Spend extra time at the range while earning the Cadette Archery badge. Play new games and learn how archery is scored. When you aren't fine tuning your skills at the range preparing for a friendly session competition, you'll have time to climb the rock wall, zoom down the zip-line, make a fun craft, cool off swimming, and take a horseback trail ride!


June 25 - 30 Horses to the Max! $495

Mature campers will practice important ground skills every horsewoman needs to know such as how to catch, tie, lead, groom, and saddle a horse. Improve your riding skills at a walk, trot, and possibly even a lope as you prepare for the end of the week horsemanship competition! Cool off in the swimming pool and enjoy a couple of trail rides this week!

Think camp is just about making friendship bracelets out of thread? Think again! From making pendants to designing your own beads, you'll make a variety of jewelry at camp as you earn the Junior "Jewelers" badge. Swimming, archery, a horseback trail ride, and tie-dying a shirt are just some of the fun activities you'll do when you're not making jewelry.

Reaching the top of the rock wall, feeling the breeze as you glide down the zip line, and spending extra time hanging out at the pool with new friends will be just some of the fun at camp! July 2 - 7 Cowgirl Up! $525

Are you ready for extreme horseback riding fun? If you can't get enough of horses and are ready to spend lots of extra time at the barn, this is the session for you! Begin your day preparing your horse for amazing fun and competition. Compete in showmanship, horsemanship, and the Cowgirl Up Rodeo! Discover what it takes to prepare you and your horse for each of these competitions. Connect with your horse and enjoy competing for ribbons and awards during this action packed session. You will also have time to swim, tie-dye, and participate in other fun camp activities.
*Prerequisites: Participants must have the ability to saddle, bridle, lead and tie. You should be able to control a horse at all gaits and be able and willing to participate in play day style events. NO beginning riders. This session is for mature campers.


July 2 - 7 Junior Chefs $495

Discover the fun of cooking at camp this week! You'll learn how to follow recipes to make a terrific breakfast, a yummy dessert, and will work with your new camp friends to create a meal as you earn the Junior Simple Meals badge! During the week you'll also get to enjoy swimming, archery, and a horseback trail ride! Don't worry about bringing an apron to camp with you - we'll give you on one Sunday that you will get to decorate!

Get creative at camp as you explore the arts while working on all sorts of cool projects as you earn your Brownie Outdoor Art Creator, Painting, and Outdoor Adventurer badges! Swimming, tie-dying, archery, and a horseback trail ride will also be part of the fun this week!


July 9 - 14 Camp Journey $495

Sleep in cabins for this session
Choose your adventure through the aMAZE or Breathe Journey! Use the low ropes course to learn team building skills or learn how to take action to protect the world around you. Learn relaxation techniques using aromatherapy, discover how nature clears the air- then learn how to clear the air in your relationships. Try your hand at cooking eclairs and cook a meal outside on a campfire. Connect with your new friends as you swim, enjoy a horseback trail ride, and aim for a bull's-eye on the archery range. (You will be given a Journey book to take home so you can complete the remaining requirements.)


July 9 - 14 Drill Thrill $495

Take your riding skills to a new level and experience what it is like to be a part of a horseback riding drill team. Improve your riding skills as you learn a drill to perform in front of the rest of camp on Friday. You'll also be able to enjoy trail rides, swimming, aiming for a bull's-eye on the archery range, and more! This session is not for first time riders.


July 9 - 14 Horseshow Highlights $450

Spend time at the barn getting to know your horse, learn what it takes to care for a horse and compete in a horseshow. Take trail rides through the woods and practice your skills in the arena before you compete for a blue ribbon in our session horseshow at the end of the week! Includes tie-dye, S'mores, songs, campfires, swimming, and archery.


July 9 - 14 Me and My Horse $450

During this action packed session, you'll get the chance to master the rock wall and zip line plus have extra time to spend chilling at the pool! You'll also go on a horseback trail ride, make a cool craft, and spend time at the archery range.

July 9 - 21 Switcharoo $895

Sleep in the lodge at Camp Bette Perot and switch to a Tent at Camp Rocky Point for this session  Cadettes earn the Archery badge, Seniors 
earn the Paddling badge, and Ambassadors can complete part of the Ultimate Recreation Challenge badge.
Can't decide between riding horses and kayaking or sleeping in a platform tent or air-conditioned cabin? Why not do it all this summer!
You'll start your adventure at Rocky Point swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and aiming for a bull's-eye at the archery range. Then, you'll spend the second part of the session in Bette's Treehouse at Camp Bette Perot where you will enjoy horseback riding, swimming, and even get to climb the rock wall before zooming down the zip line!
This session is for mature campers. Cadettes will earn the Archery badge, Seniors will earn the Paddling badge, and Ambassadors can complete part of the Ultimate Recreation Challenge badge.
Please note that this camp session is 13 days and will change locations midway from Rocky Point to Bette Perot. Transportation and counselor supervision will be provided.

Explore camp after dark as you go on a night hike, stargaze with friends, and enjoy extra swimming some evenings after all-camp activities. You'll even get to sleep late at least one morning before having breakfast in your unit. July 16 - 21 Rockin‘ Ranch House $450

Spend your rockin' week learning about horses and life on the ranch! Learn to rope and play horseshoes then join the dummy roping and horseshoe competitions, go on trail rides, take part in arena classes, and cook a ranch-style meal over a campfire. July 16 - 21 Rockin‘ the Ropes $450

Conquer the ropes course as you climb the rock wall, traverse elements such as the multi-vine and catwalk, brave the power pole and more! Whether you draw often or are looking to try something new, this session is sure to be fun! Meet new camp friends, go swimming and kayaking in the lake, hike a trail, and much more!
 
June 18 - 23 Sunshine Sailors $450
Grades 7-12
Sleep in cabins for this session
Have you always wanted to learn how to sail? Learn the basics of sailing including how to rig, steer, and recover from a capsized boat. Swimming, kayaking, spending time with friends, and archery are just some of the fun things that also await! Girls must be strong swimmers who feel comfortable in the water and can swim at least 100 yards and tread water for two minutes. Girls who are not able to demonstrate these skills will not be permitted to sail and will participate in other activities during sailing time.

Throughout the week, you'll earn points for your cabin as you take part in kayaking and canoe races, an archery competition, capture the flag, and more. When it's time to chill, you might find yourself playing a game of sand volleyball, making arts and crafts, swimming in the lake, or exploring the woods looking for a pond or amphitheater. Cadettes will earn the Archery badge and Seniors will earn the Paddling badge.

July 9 - 14 Be a Star! $420
Grades 4-6 *
Sleep in platform tents for this session Juniors earn the Musician badg
Experience the magic of the stage while performing at camp this week. Learn a new dance, make a musical instrument out of common items, sing, and create a skit! You'll also have time to tie-dye a shirt, go kayaking, and make a splash with friends as you swim in the lake! Juniors will earn the Musician badge.


July 9 - 14 Guitars & Girl Scouts Rock $495

Sleep in platform tents for this session
Learn to play the guitar wth the fabulous musicians from School of Rock- Frisco as they teach you the basics including chords and a song or two! When you aren't practicing on your new instrument, you'll swim, kayak, and try archery with new camp friends! All girls attending this special session will take home a guitar at the end of the week so that they can continue playing!


July 9 - 14 Oars & S‘mores $390

Calling all girls who already love or want to try kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding! After learning the basics of paddling, you'll have plenty of opportunities to play some cool waterfront games! Roast marshmallows for a s'more, aim for a bull's-eye at the archery range, tie-dye, or swim! Seniors will earn the Paddling badge.

Week 4a
July 9 - 21 Switcharoo $895
Grades 9-12 *
Sleep in the lodge at Camp Bette Perot and switch to a Tent at Camp Rocky Point for this session  Cadettes earn the Archery badge, Seniors 
earn the Paddling badge, and Ambassadors can complete part of the Ultimate Recreation Challenge badge.
Can't decide between riding horses and kayaking or sleeping in a platform tent or air-conditioned cabin? Why not do it all this summer!
You'll start your adventure at Rocky Point swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and aiming for a bull's-eye at the archery range. Then, you'll spend the second part of the session in Bette's Treehouse at Camp Bette Perot where you will enjoy horseback riding, swimming, and even get to climb the rock wall before zooming down the zip line!
This session is for mature campers. Cadettes will earn the Archery badge, Seniors will earn the Paddling badge, and Ambassadors can complete part of the Ultimate Recreation Challenge badge.
Please note that this camp session is 13 days and will change locations midway from Rocky Point to Bette Perot. Transportation and counselor supervision will be provided.

Sleep in platform tents for this session
Chocolate eclairs, apple crisp, and pies are just some of the delightful desserts you'll be making at camp this session. We'll also make homemade whipping cream and chocolate curls to decorate your creations. Of course there will be time for swimming with your friends, aiming for the bull's-eye on the archery range, and even having a traditional s'more!
 
July 16 - 21 Giggles & Grins $420

Are you a fan of the Percy Jackson book and movie series? If so, you won't want to miss this week as Rocky Point is transformed into our version of “Camp Half-Blood”. Enjoy swimming and kayak races, the low ropes course, exploring the woods, designing a Greek style vase, and playing a game of capture the flag while enjoying traditional camp activities.

Summer vacation is short, so make sure you find a fun way to spend it! Create, design, and build this week as you work on marble roller coasters, bubble blowing machines, solar cookers, egg vehicles, and much more! When not inventing, you'll swim, kayak, make a paracord bracelet, and aim for the bull's-eye at the archery range!
 
July 23 - 28 Making Waves $420

Come make waves at Rocky Point this summer as you swim and learn to kayak with your new camp friends. When you're not at the waterfront, you'll have time to try archery, make a shell-shaped necklace, create a tie-dyed shirt, and more! Brownies will earn the Outdoor Adventurer badge this week.
 
July 23 - 28 Rocky‘s Retreat $420
