Summer “Camp Rocks”
Welcome to the 2013 Camp Pathway for summer fun with the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas. Camp is a place where girls can create memories, make new discoveries, develop lifelong friendships and learn new skills. We strive to make camp a place for girls to become the best they can be, learn to care for and protect the environment, and become leaders in the camp community and beyond.
Please take time to read through the camp guide with your camper to select the best choice for your Girl Scout. Whether your camper is new to camp or is a seasoned camper, there is a program in this guide for her!
Resident Camp
Camp Bette Perot
“Camp Rocks” this summer at Camp Bette Perot where you will experience an array of exciting outdoor activities such as horseback riding, swimming, campfires, ropes course adventure, hiking, archery, tie-dye , skits, songs, and new friends.
Camp Gambill
“Camp Rocks” at Camp Gambill where
YOU
can spend your time swimming, kayaking, hiking, aiming for a bull's eye at the archery range, creating cool craft projects, singing songs, tie-dying a shirt, and making new friends!
Camp Rocky Point
“Camp Rocks” at Rocky Point where
YOU
will want to spend your summer enjoying fun activities such as sailing, kayaking, swimming, making new friendss, arts and crafts, skits, and archery!
Day/Twilight Camp
Girls who may not be ready to spend overnights away from home can experience the adventure, fun and excitement of Girl Scout Camp through Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas’ Day and Twilight Camps! Girls attend the camp during the day or evening and return to their homes at night.
We’re hiring for Summer 2013!
Do you like spending time outside? Love working with girls?
Would you enjoy spending your summer as a role model while making life-long friendships and participating in activities such as swimming, horseback riding, and kayaking? If so, then perhaps a job at camp is right for you!
