Camp Rocks” at Camp Gambill where swimming, kayaking, archery, tie-dying and making new friends are just some of the fun things YOU can do!
If you like all things princess, then you won't want to miss the sessions from June 16 - 18 where each cabin will have a princess theme and you'll get to attend a royal ball!
The horses from Camp Bette Perot will also be making a special appearance during several sessions this year - including “Best of Both Worlds”,“Fun Friends” and “Texas Traditions”.
Camp Gambill is a beautifully wooded 54-acre facility located in Sumner, Texas. Featuring a sandy private waterfront, this camp has a swimming area protected by a floating pier, up-to-date canoeing and kayaking, a sand volleyball court and other outdoor activities such as wooded hiking trails.
If it is your first time spending the night at camp, be sure to check out our 2 night, 3 day sessions which provide a great introduction to the resident camp experience. In these sessions, you will have the chance to go swimming and make new friends while experiencing a short time away from home.
Are you ready for a longer camp session? Did you have the chance to attend Camp Gambill last summer, and really wished the short session wouldn’t end because you were having so much fun? If so, you won’t want to miss the week long sessions at Camp Gambill this year! You’ll have even more time to spend with friends exploring camp and going swimming and kayaking!
If you are entering grades 2 - 7, we have a session for you at Camp Gambill this summer!
Camp Gambill also offers the Counselor In Training (CIT) program for girls entering grades 10-12, and the Mariner In Training (MIT) program for girls 14 and older. An application is required. Online registration is not available for these leadership sessions.

Join us at Camp Gambill for a fun-filled session where you will get a chance to share giggles with new friends, swim in a lake, tie-dye a shirt, aim for a bull’s eye at the archery range, try a game of Goosey Golf, and have lots of fun! You don’t want to miss this session! Brownies will earn the Making Friends Badge and Juniors will earn the Social Butterfly badge.

Learn to dance like a princess in preparation for the royal ball. You’ll even get to make your own "fairy godmother’s wand" to take home to remind you that dreams can come true!
Being a princess is about much more than just wearing a tiara. Find your inner princess at camp this session while making new friends, practicing manners at a Royal Ball, learning patience while aiming for a bull's eye at the archery range, and participating in other fun camp activities such as swimming and kayaking! Brownies will earn the Making Friends badge and Juniors will earn the Social Butterfly badge.
The Princess Power session will be divided into groups based on different princesses. When registering for this session, please choose your princess. There is a limit of 8 girls per princess theme.
We will be holding a special princess Royal Ball all camp event, and girls are encouraged to bring items to dress up as a princess for this special evening.

Create "sparkly paper lanterns" to decorate your cabin and a "Rapunzel hair clip organizer" to take home with you!

Do you like both lake activities and horses? If so, then this is the session for you! While at camp this week, you will get to spend lots of time at the waterfront swimming and kayaking. In addition, you will learn how to groom and saddle a horse and be led on a short horseback ride while earning your Horse Happy badge. There will still be time left for hanging out with your friends exploring camp, archery, learning new songs, and tie-dying a shirt.

Are you ready to go to camp for your first time and try both swimming in a lake and horseback riding? If so, this is the perfect session! You will get a chance to meet a new pony friend, brush his coat, and be led on a short horseback ride. You’ll also have time to make new friends with the girls in your cabin and in your unit while swimming, making a fun craft, trying for a bull's eye on the archery range, and learning to tie-dye a shirt. While at camp, you will earn the Horses! badge

Come be a princess with her own destiny as you participate in friendly archery competitions and kayak races. Test your outdoor skills by cooking over a fire and learning about nature. You’ll also enjoy a hike, tie-dying, swimming, being led on a short horse back ride while you earn your Horses! badge, and more as you learn that your destiny can change with you!

Be transported to this magical world at Camp Gambill where you will meet new friends, learn how to make a delicious strawberry shortcake desert, and even get the chance one day to meet a new pony friend and be led on a short horseback ride while earning your Horses! badge. There will also be lots of time for you to go swimming, learn to kayak, try archery, make fun crafts this week, and also earn your Making Friends badge!

Join us as we celebrate some of the great things about Texas this session! Whether discovering how to plant a garden, make your own salsa, or learning a line dance you will be having a great time with new friends exploring all the things that Texas is known for. Texans are also known for their love of horses, and you will get a chance to meet a new horse friend one day, brush his coat, and be led on a short horseback ride while earning your Horse Happy badge! Then, you can cool off by taking a refreshing swim in the watering hole. You’ll even get the chance to learn how to kayak this week. You won’t want to miss the fun as we discover so many things Texan!

Discover the fun of camp at night! Hang out with your new camp friends swimming, kayaking, and aiming for a bull’s eye on the archery range during the day, and then enjoy camp after dark while stargazing, taking a night hike, having a karaoke party, and singing around the campfire. Sleep in late one morning then relax while having a pajama breakfast.

Celebrate our country with us at Camp Gambill this session! Red, white, and blue will be our colors of the week as you create an awesome tie-dyed shirt, a yummy snack, and cool crafts to take home to decorate for the 4th of July. Discover how to fold the flag and much more as you earn the GSNETX Brownie “My Flag, My Country, and Me” badge. When you’re not working on your badge, you’ll be spending time with your new camp friends having fun learning to kayak, playing a game of Goosey Golf, and going swimming!

Are you ready for an amazing time at camp? Then, you won’t want to miss Stars and Stripes Sweethearts! While at camp, you will get to go swimming, kayaking, play a game of Goosey Golf, and look for stars in the night sky, but that is just the part of the fun. You’ll also get to learn the Pledge of Allegiance in sign language, participate in a flag ceremony, meet a proud member of our U.S. military who is also a Girl Scout, and earn the GSNETX Junior “My Flag, My Country, and Me” badge! In celebration of the 4th of July, you will be a part of a service project helping to make care packages to send to our soldiers overseas.

If you’re looking for a terrific way to start the holiday week, you won’t want to miss this session!

If you have Cookie Dough credits to apply from cookie sales, you should secure your camper’s spot now by registering and paying in full. (Remember, camp space is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.)
Once the actual amount of Cookie Dough credits is validated, and you receive your Cookie Dough Card, you should request reimbursement for the amount desired.
