Day/Twilight Camp Sessions

Girls who may not be ready to spend overnights away from home can experience the adventure, fun and excitement of Girl Scout Camp through GSNETX Day and Twilight camps! At these volunteer run Day/Twilight Camps, girls can attend a camp offered during daytime or twilight hours and return home each night. Outdoor activities, new friends and special memories are part of what makes Day/Twilight Camp a great experience for girls including a unique theme! Whether a girl chooses a camp close to home or miles away, each day she returns home self-confident and bubbling over with stories of friendship, new-found skills, and memories of sunny days or glowing campfires. Check out the list below to choose location, date or theme that suits you best and get ready for some Girl Scout camping fun!
Note: Camp prices are $55 per week for girls, $30 per week for boys, pre-schoolers and tag-a-longs. If registering after the camp deadline, add $10 to the price. Make check payable to the specific camp you are attending and mail the registration and check to the address listed under the "more details" for that camp.
Day/Twilight Camp is available for girls ages 5 - 17.
Note: Camps may fill up before the deadline, so it is essential to send in your registration as soon as possible!

From the mountains of Big Bend to the prairies and forests, Texas has it ALL! Dinosaurs and Rocket Science - History and Natural Sciences are all studied and enjoyed in Texas and we are bringing it to Twilight Hollow!

Tour Texas without ever leaving Bob Woodruff Park: Join with old and new friends for fun in the out of doors as we explore the wonders of Texas while enjoying the traditional camp activities of archery, crafts and a Thursday cookout. Girls are organized into units by grade levels.

The units will choose their activities for the week from a selection of program choices at the pre-camp Camper meeting scheduled by each individual unit of girls the week of May 17-24.

Come explore the unique diversity that is Deep in the Heart of Texas: Big & Bright!

In a world where the Mythological creatures rule all things, there is a secret land they enjoy the most called Camp Norwestor. This year's 5 day twilight camp will be a fusion of art, a brief study of Greek mythology and the inspiration of the natural world all while having fun. Campers will create individual works of art, take part in archery, fencing, and orienteering, some of Athena's favorite things. Campers will touch base on other fun Girl Scout camp activities. All of which will lead them to discover more about themselves.

There are 2 specialty units available for our Cadettes, Outdoor Cooking and Photography, and these fill up quickly. On Friday Night all campers will make their own foil pack dinner and have s'mores with their unit.

Let's dive into summer by celebrating “Under the Sea”. Come ready to jam with clams, fish, whales, sharks and octopuses as we explore life under the sea through nature & craft projects, songs, and wacky water games.

We will also have traditional camp activities: archery, hikes, s'mores, and more. Teacher Creature will be bringing lots of preserved creatures of the sea for hands on exploration and the Texas Astronomical Society will be joining us again to help us observe the night sky.

The Camp Amiga hills will be alive with the sounds of music this year as we explore popular musicals ranging from Cats to Little Mermaid to Wicked.  Located right outside of Irving, TX, campers will learn all aspects of a live theatrical production - - everything from improvisation to musical theater to costumes.

Are you Broadway Bound or just love the spotlight? Each unit will concentrate on a specific Broadway musical and learn the basics of what it takes to be on stage. On Friday afternoon, we will have a showcase of all the musicals learned about the week. Break a leg!

If you have Cookie Dough credits to apply from cookie sales, you should secure your camper’s spot now by registering and paying in full. (Remember, camp space is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.)
Once the actual amount of Cookie Dough credits is validated, and you receive a Cookie Dough Email, you should request reimbursement for the amount desired.
To request reimbursement, complete the 2014 Cookie Dough Reimbursement Request form and submit it along with a copy of your original Cookie Dough Email to:
