International Girls Day

Program Description: In 2009, a small group of girls came up with the idea to create a day just for girls to celebrate what makes girls special. With the help of their mentor, they took the idea to Kappa Delta Sorority and together they created International Girls Day on behalf of the Confidence Coalition. With the message, “She Can Do Anything!” the celebration recognizes the spirit of girls and encourages girls to make their dreams a reality. The celebration takes place each year in mid November.
