Primitive Wilderness Survival Skills
Grade Levels Served:  C,S,A,F
Program Description:  This overnight experience will teach you the following life skills: Shelter- the most important, clothing to debris huts. Water- where to find, how to purify, dehydration Fire- How to build, maintain and various lighting methods to include Fire By Friction. Cautions in the woods- no need to fear, just be aware. Each camper will need to bring a knife with them to camp. Bring your own lunches, mess kits, refillable water bottle, sleeping bags and tent (if you don’t plan to sleep in the shelter you make). Dads welcome, they really get into this camp! We begin Saturday morning and end Sunday afternoon.
