“Camp Rocks” at Camp Bette Perot!

Camp Bette Perot offers many exciting activities for summer camp including horseback riding, archery, a ropes challenge course, Olympic sized swimming pool, tie-dye and nature hikes. Check out all the sessions including the new Rock’n Riders which offers extreme adventure during this action packed week of horseback riding- you will even ride your horse in a parade- and rock wall challenges. Also new this year are the exciting and fun STEM sessions such as Water Wonderland, Camp’s A Blast, and Camp Safari. And, if horses are your passion, the Cowgirl Up! and Horse Power sessions give you maximum riding and hands on horse time.
Sessions run from two nights to six days in length. Find your summer fun as you browse the sessions below.
Camp Bette Perot also offers the Counselor In Training (CIT) program for girls entering grades 10 - 12, and the Wrangler In Training (WIT) program for girls 14 and older.

If animals are your thing, this is the session for you! Discover how to take care of the animals living in your unit and at the petting zoo. Learn with hands-on experience what it takes to care for rabbits, goats, chickens, sheep and the ponies that live at camp. Explore animal habitats at night and in the daytime as you take a night eyes hike after dark and then create your own animal habitat. You will also enjoy one horseback ride, swimming, and cooking out over a campfire. Earn the Animal Habitat badge while you are here.

Join us at the ropes course for this awesome adventure of rappel wall fun. Come check out the new Camp Bette Perot rappel wall during this short week. You will also have time to swim, cook out over a fire, make new friends and learn new songs.

Entering Grades: 2 - 3
Come join us at the ranch for fun Brownie style. Take a horseback ride, earn the Horses badge! Try your hand at shooting a bow and arrow, go swimming, and tie dye a favorite shirt. You will also get to cook out over a campfire, learn new songs and make new friends while you are at camp.

If you think you love horses, sample this short session and find out! Ride two times AND earn your Horse Happy badge while you are here. You will still have time to meet new friends, swim, and cook out on a campfire.

Entering Grades: 4 - 6
Come saddle up and explore a trail as well as ride in the arena and compete for a blue ribbon during this short session. You will also earn your Saddle Up badge, swim, and cook out on a campfire while you are at camp.

Entering Grades: 6 - 12
Come to camp and enjoy the outdoors your way! Take a horseback ride, tie-dye, shoot some arrows and then head to the air-conditioned Treehouse for extra turtle time. Learn relaxation techniques using aromatherapy cook a meal out on a campfire and make a fun craft. Take a late night dip in the pool, and then sleep in the next morning and have a late breakfast. Bring some old friends and make some new ones as you explore camp at your own pace. You will help make your own schedule for the week, so come with some cool ideas! Cadettes will earn part of the Breathe journey while they are at camp.

If you have Cookie Dough credits to apply from cookie sales, you should secure your camper’s spot now by registering and paying in full. (Remember, camp space is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.)
Once the actual amount of Cookie Dough credits is validated, and you receive your Cookie Dough Card, you should request reimbursement for the amount desired.
To request reimbursement, complete the 2013 Cookie Dough/Gift Card Reimbursement Request form and sent it along with your actual Cookie Dough Card to:
