Going on a camping adventure, volunteering, or exploring a new interest? When you participate in these exciting projects, you could earn a GeoScouting patch, Silver Lining patch and so much more!

Camp Project Partner
Earn this patch by doing a special camp service project on any GSNETX campsite.


Girl Scout Troop Camping Patch
For Girl Scout troops who camp at any GSNETX campsite. This patch consists of basic patch and segments that represent each council campsite.


GeoScouting Patch
Girls of all ages are invited to download the GSNETX app and start GeoScouting Camp Whispering Cedars during their campout.


Totem Pole Patch (5 total)
Visit GSNETX camps to earn this 5-part Totem Pole patch through fun outdoor activities.


Polar Bear Award
Earn this patch by camping in a tent (including platform tents) for one night when the temperature reaches 32 degrees or below at any GSNETX campsite.


TLC Camper Patch
Girls can earn the TLC Camper patch when they (1) demonstrate ‘‘tender loving care’’ for council camp grounds, equipment and facilities, and (2) satisfactorily complete the Camp Site Check-Out List. (Sold as a set.)  


Girls of "Note"
Girls of "Note" encourages girls to continue one of the traditional skills of Girl Scouts: singing. As you go along in Girl Scouts, you’ll learn more and more songs each year!



History Museum Explorers
Dallas has many great museums to explore. Be sure to visit them and learn about history!


Mission Military Patch
Mission Military is an opportunity to learn more about military service and history. Girls of all program levels can earn this patch!


My Flag, My Country & Me  
Brownies through Ambassadors will learn to fold a flag, say the Pledge of Allegiance in sign language and conduct a formal flag ceremony, just to name a few, in order to earn these badges.


Scouting Northeast Texas
All girls can earn the Scouting Northeast Texas patch by learning about their community.


Summer Reading Program
The summer reading program is designed to encourage Girl Scouts to read, even when school is out! As with all activities, parents should be comfortable with the reading material their children choose.

This new and exciting initiative allows Girl Scouts to take part in a fantastic service project and earn a free patch during the heart health month.

A collaborative service opportunity with the local Goodwill Industries of Dallas, Northeast Texas and East Texas, and support from GSNETX, to help individuals with disadvantages by collecting usable items for Goodwill to sell.


Share the Warmth
You can help make a difference by collecting new or gently used comfort items (blankets, sheets, pillows) and dropping them off at any Sleep Experts location.


Silver Lining Patch
The Silver Lining Patch Program helps girls make new friends and improve the quality of life for residents of nursing homes, assisted living and adult day care facilities. Learn how you can earn the patch!

TI Engineering Patch
Girl Scouts of all program levels must complete STEM-based activities in order to earn the TI patch. Find out what activities suit you!

STEM Seal Of Approval

(GSNETX will provide handouts at STEM events that explain which portion of the STEM Seal of Approval will be earned.)

We are committed to building girls’ interest, awareness, and competence in STEM. Your girls can join the fun by working on special GSNETX Council STEM patches. The black, center patch is free and will be earned after completing the online reporting form by the designated deadline.
