Clubs

Girl Scout clubs are year-long programs designed to let older Girl Scouts to explore specific interests though the Girl Scout Leadership Experience model. Girls can participate individually or as a troop, they can join one club or all of them - let your passion determine your participation! These clubs are led by dedicated volunteers in partnership with content experts, under the guidance of GSNETX Programs staff. Club dues vary based on frequency of meetings per year. Financial assistance is available. Unless otherwise stated, all groups are open to Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors only.

Astronomy Club

Do you have an interest in the sky, NASA, and the universe? Join the Astronomy Club to discover what scientists know about the universe, experience star parties, and more!

An annual club membership fee of $25 is good from October 1, 2017 - September 30, 2018. Membership includes a club T-shirt, patch (girls must attend at least 4 meetings to receive the patch), and general meetings at the STEM Center of Excellence.

The GSNETX Astronomy Club is supported by NASA and run in partnership with the Texas Astronomical Society and UT Arlington.

As a member, you'll learn the basics of talking to the media, how to share your Girl Scout story, social media design, and more as you prepare to be a spokesperson for Girl Scouts. Coding Club

Cookie Box Creations

Cookie Box Creations teams girls with women architects and engineers in a design contest to turn empty Girl Scout Cookie boxes into free-standing structures. For girls interested in a career in architecture or engineering, this is a wonderful program that develops critical thinking skills and promotes cooperation and team building. Team structures are even displayed for the general public at the Galleria Dallas.

As a member, you'll meet professionals from various fields that will help mentor them through the process of building a business plan from an idea. Honor Guard

Honor Guard is a group of girls interested in traditions, flag ceremonies, and patriotism. Training and development is based upon ceremonial understanding and respect for the American, Texas, Girl Scout, and WAGGGS flags. Stream Team

The GSNETX Stream Team turns girls into citizen scientists, creek explorers, and sustainability leaders. Girls will learn about river ecosystems, conduct scientific experiments, and explore wildlife in and around aquatic ecosystems.
