Leadership Institute (GSLI)
The Girl Scout Leadership Institute (GSLI) is an initiative of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas to inspire and equip high school girls to pursue higher education and expose them to a variety of career opportunities, using job shadowing as one method. The Institute gives girls in grades 9-12 the opportunity to visit local corporations and universities, gain access to female role models and empower young girls to positively impact their communities now and in the future.

Make an impact in the future of girls by serving as a career mentor. Job shadowing offers girls the chance to learn about a particular occupation or profession to see if it might appeal to them. In job shadowing, a business typically provides an experience for a girl as she accompanies a worker throughout their day to day work schedule. STAY TUNED FOR MORE JOB SHADOWING OPPORTUNITIES.
