Volunteer Coordinator - Denton

Could you be the next Volunteer Coordinator? There's only one way to find out!

In this role, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support to volunteers in the Frisco and Denton counties in an effort to retain girl and volunteer membership. The Volunteer Coordinator is also responsible for supporting initiatives that enrich the experience at the volunteer, girl and parent level that encourage them to be longtime members.

Requirement Summary:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Minimum (1-2) years applicable administrative, project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and practical work experience.

  • Experience with a volunteer workforce is a plus.

Director, Corporate Relations - Dallas

Outside Sales Coordinator - Dallas/ East Texas

In this role, the Outside Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to increase girl and volunteer membership in established geographic area, generating leads and prospects to meet membership goals and increase overall Girl Scout troop membership growth.

The Outside Sales Coordinator must have:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing/Sales or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years sales, marketing and/or recruiting experience, or equivalent combination of education and practical work experience.
  • Experience with a volunteer workforce or membership organization is a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year community engagement experience
  • Must be able to travel within designated regional area as assigned.

Summer Unit Counselor (Full-Time, Seasonal)  - GSNETX Camps

Do you enjoy the outdoors and helping girls have an amazing summer? Then you're just who we're looking for to join our Outdoor Leadership Experience team as a Summer Unit Counselor!

In this role, the Unit Counselor is responsible for participating as a member of an assigned unit and assisting the unit leader with the planning, teaching and coordinating of the camp unit activities. The Unit Counselor is also responsible for assisting with the implementation of Girl Scout programs in a camp setting and safeguarding the campers’ health, safety and security while providing a fun camp experience. We are also looking for Unit Leaders.

Our beautiful camps are located in Palestine, Sumner and Denison, TX.

STEM Summer Counselor (High School College Journey) - Dallas

In this role, the Summer STEM Counselors are responsible for ensuring a meaningful Girl Scout Experience during the High School College Journey event, assisting with facilitating high quality science, technology, engineering, and math programming, and maintaining emotional and physical health and safety of the girls. The High School College Journey is an overnight event from July 17 to July 22.

Camp Nurse (Full-Time, Seasonal) - GSNETX Camps

At the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, we believe in the power of every girl. With the right team of amazing people, we can change the world – one girl at a time.

Share your talents with us as a Summer Camp Health Supervisor/ Nurse (Camp Nurse). This position is responsible for the overall planning and implementation of camp health care, including the safeguarding of camper and staff health and safety. The Camp Nurse also participates as a member of camp administration to carry out responsibilities for the planning and implementation of Girl Scout programs in an outdoor setting.

Resident camp is June 5 - July 30,  which includes a week of paid training and seven weeks of camp fun! You’ll live onsite at camp and have meals provided during staff training week and when campers are onsite. While  we prefer camp nurses who can commit to an entire summer, we are willing to consider position sharing and applications that are available for a shorter time period.
