Dallas Morning News Article Covers How GSNETX Helps Girls Learn Science Without Internet

A July 8 article in the Dallas Morning News reported how Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas’ Camp Out of the Box series program aims to keep girls involved in their communities while learning STEM during the pandemic.

“The Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas has over 4,000 members with internet connectivity issues, and 71% of their 25,000 members come from moderate- to low-income families. The team wanted to give all girls an equal opportunity to learn STEM regardless of their access to technology, said Shane Woods, director of the STEM center.”
