Director of Individual Giving - North Dallas

We are the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas and we believe in the power of every girl. With the right team of amazing people, we can change the world – one girl at a time.

Come share your talents with us as the Director of Individual Giving. The Director of Individual Giving is responsible for developing and driving the strategy for donors to ensure a comprehensive individual giving program. The Director of Individual Giving will manage a portfolio of donors capable of gifts $1,000+ that serves as a pipeline for major and capital gifts (70% of time) while managing the Women of Distinction Luncheon (30% of time). Working in close partnership with other members of the fund development team, the Director of Individual Giving will have primary responsibility for the strategic oversite of the program including identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual donors at all giving levels, including planned gifts.

The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge related to individual gifts, fund development principles, fundraising strategies and ethics, and familiarity with “moves management” donor tracking systems.

Manager, External Communications - North Dallas

We are currently seeking a motivated, proactive, creative, and results-driving communications professional to join our Marketing and Communications team. The Manager of External Communications will directly manage activities that establish, promote, enhance, and protect the organizations brand and reputation. Service Unit Engagement Coordinator

 

The Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas is looking for a Service Unit Engagement Coordinator. The position is responsible for maintaining customer focus in order to provide excellent service to volunteers, parents and girls through the development of local administrative volunteers. This role executes strategic retention initiatives and works in partnership with staff and volunteers to achieve results. 

Requirement Summary: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Minimum (1-2) years applicable administrative, project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and practical work experience.

  • Experience with a volunteer workforce is a plus+.

Troop Engagement Coordinator

We’re the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, and we believe in the power of every girl. We are looking for the Troop Engagement Coordinator who can do amazing things.  This position is responsible for maintaining customer focus in order to provide excellent service to volunteers, parents and girls in existing Girl Scout troops, mentoring troop leaders and providing guidance especially through the crucial bridging years. This role executes strategic retention initiatives and works in partnership with staff and volunteers to achieve results. The Troop Engagement Coordinator builds relationships with volunteers to empower, equip, and support them to reach more girls in more ways with greater impact. The incumbent will support the following areas: Carrollton, Coppell, Denton, Farmers Branch, Flower Mound, and The Colony.

We are the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, and we are looking for part-time Program Delivery Specialist (Group Leader) for our Girl Scouting in the School Day Program in East Texas.  With the right team of amazing people, we can help girls thrive in the 21st century. The Group Leader provides Girl Scout programs to girls in various school settings that will build courage, confidence and character in young girls. The Group Leader works with middle school girls during the school day. Will work 15 to 29 hours per week. We have positions available in the Longview and Tyler area.

After School Group Leader - Dallas

Community Programs provides high quality Girl Scout programs in various schools that include Uplift Education and Dallas ISD. The mission is to build courage, confidence and character in school age girls. The After School Group Leader (Program Delivery Specialist) facilitates the delivery of Girl Scout curriculum and programs, as well as helps girls with their language proficiency. The Program Delivery Specialist will be required to work afterschool.

AmeriCorps Positions

AmeriCorps STEM Program Facilitator

The AmeriCorps Program Facilitator is responsible for program delivery, chaperoning participants during assigned sessions, and assisting with station rotation and other girl involved activities. This person will share in the implementation and coordination of high-quality programming that meets the goals and objectives of GSNETX Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) programs at the STEM Center of Excellence. 

We are looking for members as diverse as the community we serve and with the following eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a high school diploma or be willing to earn one while serving (undergraduate degree strongly preferred).
  • AmeriCorps Members will have access to students age 17 or younger, thus a National Service Criminal History Check is required. Must complete and pass a criminal background check.
  • Able to commit to completing either 1700 hours of full time service over 11 months with a living allowance of $14,500.00 or;
  • Able to commit to completing 900 hours of half time service over 4 months with a living allowance of $9,000.00.
  • AmeriCorps members will be eligible for an education award upon successful completion of service with a satisfactory performance evaluation.
