Ever hold a human heart in your hand? Have ideas about how to prevent Fritos from being crushed in the bag? Put on a fireworks show in the chem lab?

Do these things and more as you experience college, prepare for academic success, and make new friends in this residential Pre-College program for High School girls. This is a great program for motivated and enthusiastic students to experience college life, explore a variety of STEM disciplines, and engage with other Girl Scouts.

Subjects girls will have the opportunity to explore during the week include: Biomedical, Chemistry, Food Science, Arts and Technology, Engineering, Land Development and Architecture, and Leadership.

Girls will spend time on the campus of Frito Lay and network with professionals from a variety of industries over the course of the week. This is a great camp for girls who are interested in STEM, but want to go deeper and explore their options further as well as girls who aren’t quite sure what one would do with a STEM degree.

Girls will earn the majority of the SOW What Journey, a pre-requisite toward earning the Girl Scout Gold Award.

Cost: $425 for the week, includes room, board, all activities, badges and patches and a camper t-shirt.
