Strong Girls: Mind and Body
Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors learn about the importance of being physically and mentally fit. When we exercise, it is not only good for our bodies, it is good for our minds. It can boost our mood, reduce stress, and even help us get to better sleep. When girls run, jump, walk or play, they get their blood pumping to their brain and that can even help with school. Girls will get tips for reducing stress, learn about healthy eating, and then get moving with yoga.
This in an outdoor event where CDC social distancing guidlines will be followed. In case of inclement weather event will be moved indoors. Due to the unpredictability we face as a result of COVID-19, this event may undergo cancellation per state and local directives for public health safety.
Girls earn part of Healthy Living and Athlete badges for their level.
