Since 1926, World Thinking Day has called for Girl Scouts and Girl Guides to join together and take part in activities that promote changing the world for the better.

The 2020 World Thinking Day theme is “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion". Girls will participate in hands on activities with an engineering twist. First, girls will learn about a girl who lives in one of the many countries with active Girl Scouts and Girl Guides. Then, while working in small groups, girls will design and build a solution to a common problem girls around the world face each day. At the end, girls will have the opportunity to share their design and what they learned about girls around the world.

Each attendee will receive an official World Thinking Day 2020 Award that may be worn on the front of a sash or vest. Bring a sack lunch, water bottle, wear closed toed and heeled shoes with socks. Safety-wise rules apply. Each troop or individually registered girl must be accompanied by an adult. Preregistration is required.
