Camp Bette Perot Troop Camp: Map, Compass, GPS, and Archery Weekend
Learn to use a map, compass, and GPS to find your way around Camp Bette Perot in this fun-filled day-long workshop. Limited to a single troop, this workshop can be scaled in difficulty and tailored to the troop’s previous orienteering experience and interests. The workshop will conclude with a friendly orienteering competition. Not recommended for first time campers.
Although this troop camp experience will look a little different than the ones we have held in the past, we are looking forward to your troop being at camp and enjoying the following for a special price of only $40 per person:
*Housing in a heated/ air-conditioned cabin
* Over 5 hours of scheduled map and compass programming on Saturday
*Archery on Sunday morning
All troop camp participants must be registered Girl Scouts.
There is a maximum of 10 participants within a troop, girls and adults combined, allowed per reservation at Camp Bette Perot with a maximum of 1 group per unit.
Camp Staff will create the activity schedule your troop will follow for the weekend and reserves the right to substitute other activities if an activity listed above is not available that weekend for reasons that include, but are not limited to, weather not permitting outdoor activities. Your archery time will be at 11 a.m. on Sunday morning with check-out immediately following. You will be given your full weekend activity schedule when you check-in at camp.
