Teachers of Nature

Description: Teachers of Nature is a virtual platform that contracts professionals in their field that have the hands on experience and knowledge to teach animal and nature related classes. Teachers of Nature instructors are zookeepers, wildlife education specialists, conservationist, science teachers and biologists who all work in the animal and educational field.

Techers of Nature's mission is bring nature into people's lives no matter how they access it. Since our class are offered virtually, or tagline is "bringing the outdoors indoors". We are excited to work with Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas to offer programs for Daisies to Ambassadors on all aspects of animals, ecology, and natural sciences. Getting girls excited about STEM has never been more important that it is right now, and hands on interactive programs are the best way to inspire the next generation of scientists. Our programs are taught by experts from around the country who are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and eager to share with your girls. In addition, when you work wit Teachers of Nature you can request to work with an instructor who is active in Girl Scouting; she can help customize your program not just by age level and area of interest, but to specific badges, journeys or even Take Action projects.

Cost: $99 for a 30 minute program, $149 for 45 minute program. Take Action Projects, brainstorm with the girls in the class and deciding on a service project that they could do in their community with what they learned while earning the badge.
