The Welman Project
Description from Program Partner: The Welman Project is a 501(c)(3) Fort Worth nonprofit uplifting our community at the intersection of imagination, education and enviroment.
Translation: We take stuff businesses would normally have to throw
in landfills (from event signage to office chairs to misprinted
T-shirts) and put it to creative new uses through three main
venues:
A free teacher warehouse with tons of supplies for
hands-on STEM and art activities, with a team of super-creative
Wellies to give you cool ideas for your next mind-blowing classroom
project.
A retail store where the community can shop for funky
treasures and affordable craft supplies.
A makerspace with tools
and workshops that empower everyone to explore their creativity.
Whether you shop, learn, volunteer, donate items or donate money, when you connect with Welman, you're investing in a cleaner, smarter, funner Fort Worth.
