Girl Scout special interest groups are year-long programs designed
for Girl Scouts to explore specific interests through the Girl Scout
Leadership Experience. Dues vary based on frequency of meetings per
year. Financial assistance is available. Unless otherwise stated,
all groups are open to Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors only.

Art Club
GSNETX Art Club is a unique space for Cadette, Senior, and
Ambassador level Girl Scouts to connect with others who share similar
interests and provide an opportunity to continue to explore Girl
Scouts in a new format. Club members will explore art mediums,
techniques and methods, connect Art with mindfulness and share their
love of art with others.

Brownies and up are invited to join our new East Texas Art Club! Art
Club is a place for practicing artists to hone their skills. Girls
will grow their imagination and learn many new techniques including
paitning, pottery, digtal art, and even woodworking.

Culinary Club (East Texas)
Juinors and up are invited to come explore the culinary world with
us. Culinary Club will provide Girl Scouts the opportunity to learn
both basic cooking skills and specific cooking styles and techniques.

G.I.R.L. Retail & Design
Girls learn the business of retail by designing a merchandise item
to sell in GSNETX shops! From product idea to sales results, and
everything in between, the girls learn about working with vendors,
costs, and margins, goal setting, and marketing.

Honor Guard
Honor Guard is a group of girls interested in traditions, flags,
ceremonies and patriotism. Training and development is based upon
ceremonial understanding and respect for the American, Texas, Girl
Scout and WAGGGS flags. Training in Honor Guard provides girls with
the opportunities to perform flag ceremonies, participate in parades
and to be leaders. This group is open to all ages.

Outdoor Adventure Interest Group
Are you a thrill-seeker or an outdoor enthusiast? OAIG will provide
adventures galore! Experienced adults enable girl-led opportunities
throughout the year.

Saturday Morning Garden Club
All girls and adults are welcome at any meeting! Come learn
something new each month, help tend the native plant garden and the
butterfly-attracting meadow, "Whispering Wings", develop new
skills while earning badges, and have a good time with other Girls
Scouts who have a similar interest in nature.

Stream Team
Stream Team turns girls into citizen scientists, creek explorers,
and sustainability leaders. Girls will learn about river ecosystems,
conduct scientific experiments, and explore wildlife in and around
aquatic ecosystems. The scientific data collected supports academic
research, informs policy, and serves as an early warning system for
water quality events across Texas.

Tejas Archers
Tejas Archers is comprised of 5 teams based on skill level for Girl
Scouts interested in learning, building and sharing their knowledge
and skills in archery. Teams meet monthly and can participate in
various competitions or tournaments.

Tejas Riders
The Tejas Riders is a premier leadership equestrian program of the
Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas that gives countless hours of service
to the equestrian program at Camp Bette Perot, while also building
leadership skills. Girls have the opportunity to develop leadership

Triathlon Club
The GSNETX Triathlon Club empowers girls, ages 10 and up, to pursue
personal development in swimming, biking, and running. Club members
learn important swim and bike safety lessons, work with professional
coaches and enthusiastic volunteers to develop their fitness and
skills, volunteer as a club at local triathlon events, and can even
participate in local events together. Triathlon is a sport girls can
do for a lifetime - come
