Girl Scout special interest groups are year-long programs designed for Girl Scouts to explore specific interests through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Dues vary based on frequency of meetings per year. Financial assistance is available. Unless otherwise stated, all groups are open to Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors only.

BIG - Backpacking Interest Group

Backpacking Interest Group (BIG) will introduce Girl Scouts of North East Texas (Juniors through Ambassadors) to backpacking and develop skills related to the activity. Girls on Target: Archery Club

Meets second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Texas Archery Academy in Plano.

Are you a budding archer? In this club we learn archery range rules, range set up, tournament rules, and shooting skills. No experience necessary - just the interest in learning a new skill and making new friends! For more information, contact gsarcheryclub@gmail.com.

Honor Guard
Honor Guard is a group of girls interested in traditions, flags, ceremonies and patriotism.  Training and development is based upon ceremonial understanding and respect for the American, Texas, Girl Scout and WAGGGS flags.  Training in Honor Guard provides girls with the opportunities to perform flag ceremonies, participate in parades and to be leaders.  This group is open to all ages.  Jessica Hallot, honorguardgsnetx@gmail.com

Stream Team
