Step into an incredible summer camp staff role at one of our
beautiful properties in North Texas, where you will create a magical
home-away-from-home for Girl Scouts ages 7 to 18 and for staff from
Texas, other states, and countries all over the world. Champion
meaningful connections and belonging, valuable teamwork, rejuvenating
time in nature, and tons of fun as girls grow their courage,
confidence, and character through community life outdoors. For many
people, camp is a gift that stays with them their entire life long,
and camp staff make it all possible.
And it's about you, too!
We want to welcome you to an amazing community where you will learn
about yourself, others, and being part of something bigger than
yourself. Whether you are running camper activities, cooking meals, or
keeping campers healthy, learn how strong you are and what you are
capable of as you develop leadership skills in responsibility,
initiative, listening, and decision-making that will serve you well in
any future career, plus build incredible friendships that you will
take with you when the summer ends.
We offer paid training at the start of the summer, paid
certifications for lifeguard and high ropes (depending on position),
free room and board, and extra pay for referring friends. We are also
proud to provide our staff with significant time off each week.

Summer staff at Camp Bette Perot (Palestine, TX)
- Work Sundays through Fridays
- 24+ hours off each weekend, plus daily break time
- Counselor and kitchen salaries start at $400 per week, with extra pay for returning staff, leadership roles, and lifeguard and high ropes positions
- Meals and housing included
Summer staff at Camp Gambill (Sumner, TX)
- Work Thursdays through Sundays
- 3 days off each week, plus daily break time
- Counselor and kitchen salaries start at $325 per week, with extra pay for returning staff, leadership roles, and lifeguard positions
- Meals and housing included
