Day and Twilight Camps

Day and Twilight Camps are regional camps led by volunteers. Some are run during the day (day camp) and others take advantage of the cool of the evening (twilight camp). Many of these camps have been around for generations and provide an accessible and rewarding Girl Scout camp experience. Girl Scouts can begin as campers and progress to Camp Aides and Youth Staffers as they grow. Each camp is independently operated and features creative themes and traditions. Most include traditional camp activities such as target sports, crafts, campfires, and singing. As our most accessible and affordable summer options, these camps fill fast!

Financial Assistance toggle arrow

Financial assistance may be requested for any registered Girl Scout living in the 32 counties served by Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas. GSNETX makes every effort to assist as many girls as possible from our allocated funds. Families with financial situations that may prevent them from participating in the day/twilight camp program can request assistance for all or part of the session fee.

Financial assistance instructions instructions will follow as camp registration opening nears.

Using your Girl Scout Bucks or Program Credits? Submit your request to use your earned GS Bucks. We will apply it towards your balance and let you know how much is still due.

What to have ready:

ActiveNet login, card/bank and GS Bucks info (if applicable)
Camper details (name, DOB, grade), health insurance, emergency contacts
Information for Campership (financial aid) if applying
Time to complete CampDoc (health & consent form)

Steps:

Sign in to your ActiveNet account (or create an account). Click here to get started.
Select the camp from the Summer Camp listings.

Choose the week/session your camper will attend.
Select any add-ons or options
Pay the non-refundable deposit to hold the spot. Day/Twilight camp fees are due in full at the time of registration.
Complete transaction in ActiveNet.
Complete CampDoc forms (health, emergency contacts, medications, insurance, and consents). Please note that our CampDoc forms are currently being finalized to further align with Senate Bill 1. Once available in March, everyone who is currently registered for Summer Camps will receive an invite email from CampDoc to complete your camp health profile.
Save confirmation emails/number for your records.
If needed, submit Campership (financial aid) paperwork at least 6 weeks before camp.
Manage payments anytime in ActiveNet — extra payments reduce your balance, automatic plan dates remain unless changed with the council.
