Ready for a role with real purpose? As a Girl Scout volunteer, you'll spark curiosity and find your own community, too.
New Daisy (grades K-1) and Brownie (grades 2-3) troops can receive complimentary monthly Girl Scout Experience Boxes - delivered right to the troop leader's door! Each box includes simple scripts, easy instructions, and ready-to-use supplies for fun, stress-free meetings. Start with a welcome box, then receive up to seven themed boxes, depending on when your troop gets going.
Get started now to be ready when Welcome Boxes start shipping in August 2026!
- Sign up to lead a Daisy (grades K-1) or Brownie (grades 2-3) troop.
- Complete your background check and training with your local Girl Scout council.
- Build your troop by signing up more adult volunteers and at least 4 Daisy or Brownie Girl Scouts.
- When you're ready, your local Girl Scout council will share instructions to start receiving your boxes.
The Girl Scout membership year runs from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027. Annual membership dues are $65 for girl members and $30 for adult members. Additional local fees and discounts may apply. Financial aid may be available. Girl Scout memberships must be renewed annually.
