Camp Whispering Cedars Summer Camp Opportunities
Registration opens February 2!
Get ready for a fantastic summer at Camp Whispering Cedars, home of The STEM Center of Excellence. Camp Whispering Cedars offers camp favorites like archery, ropes course, a HUGE swimming pool and innovative programming.
This year's on-site camp experience is a collection of day camp workshops specially developed and delivered by our highly skilled year-round camp staff. Plus, there's an eight-day road trip adventure to Palo Duro Canyon for campers itching to explore new horizons over an extended period of time.

Campers are dropped off and picked up directly from camp by families at designated times. Prices vary per session.

Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes
Come to Camp Whispering Cedars for a four-day Deep Dive Workshop where you’ll dive into focused topics and practice brand-new skills through guided activities and hands-on exploration. Campers will collaborate with fellow Girl Scouts to design, build, experiment, and create. At the end of the session, you’ll get to showcase everything you’ve learned and made. Along the way, you’ll also enjoy lunch with friends, cool off during dedicated pool time, and take part in fun outdoor adventures that round out each day’s experience. Sessions run Tuesdays-Fridays. Deep Dive Workshops are day camp experiences. See pricing information for all offerings below.
Week 2: July 7-10, Cadettes - Tech and Digital Designers
Are you ready to dive into the world of technology and digital design? During this week, Cadettes will have the opportunity to explore exciting tec like our laser cutter, 3D printers, drones, robotics kits, and MORE. Each day will also include a dip in our pool and various outdoor activities like target sports and high ropes.
Week 4: July 21-24, Juniors - Design Studio
Woodworking, jewelry making, AND leatherworking?! Come join us during our Junior Design Studio Day Camp to explore the different techniques and skills for these crafts. Each day will also include a dip in our pool and various outdoor activities like target sports and high ropes.
Week 5: July 28-31, Brownies - Mad Scientists
Calling all MAD scientists! Did you know science is all around us? Come to camp and dive into the world of chemistry by doing experiments and even launching rockets! Each day will also include a dip in our pool and various outdoor activities like target sports and high ropes.
Seniors/Ambassadors: Summer Camp Adventure – Palo Duro Canyon
We're tent camping at Palo Duro State Park in the panhandle of Texas! We look forward to exploring the wildlife and nature in the canyon while also venturing out to local attractions. We will be cooking on a camp stove, hiking, birding, and getting to experience new things with other Girl Scouts! Major equipment will be provided by us. Session runs Sunday-Friday. Seniors/Ambassadors: Summer College Experience - Austin College
Join us for a week at Austin College and get a taste of what it feels like to be a real college student. Attend college courses, explore personal wellness activities and careers, dive into an outdoor field trip, and more!
