Day and Twilight Camps

All Camps are $60 and are for All Ages

Day and Twilight camps are regional camps run by amazing Girl Scout volunteers. They feature affordable, traditional camping fun with creative themes in a park or other location near you!

Registration for these camps is through the CampDoc system. You will be required to login to see the camp selections.

Summer Sensations Twilight Camp


June 6-10, 6:00 - 8:30pm

Learn to camp like a Girl Scout! Girls will learn how to be a sister to every Girl Scout, cook over a campfire, and celebrate Girl Scout traditions such as SWAPs, games, songs, service projects and of course learning new things. Summer Sensations is located in Tyler at the East Texas Regional Service Center and offers a great outdoor experience for all Girl Scouts!

Amiga Day Camp

Imagine what your favorite wizarding school might learn if they were to go to summer day camp…This year magic comes to Camp Amiga where we will learn some of your favorite magic subjects and earn some badges too!

Eagles Nest Twilight Camp


June 13-17, 6:00-10:00pm
Ford Park, 632 Park Place Dr., Allen

Join us at Mount Olympus, where young demigods train to become heroes! Under the protection of Hera and Zeus and the other Olympians, girls will learn about Greek mythology, compete in ancient sports and engage in epic quests. We proudly offer a traditional Girl Scout outdoor experience with cooking, songs, hiking, archery/hatchets, all themed in Greek myths and legends. Get your tunics ready, because it's all Greek at Eagles Nest!

Firewheel Twilight Camp


June 13-17, 6:00-10:00pm

Good morrow!  Your Majesties request thy presence for a week of medieval games, crafts and fun!  There shall also be archery, hatchet throwing for older villagers, hikes, tie-dye and a small nightly feast . The villagers will also learn  about astronomy in addition to our other amazing sponsors and guests!

Treasure Hollow Day Camp

Calling all Greek heroes!  Join us as we travel to Mount Olympus!  You  and your Girl Scout friends will  participate in crafts, games, science, outdoor cooking and archery while earning a Girl Scout journey and badges. Treasure Hollow offers a traditional outdoor camp experience at a scenic park by Lavon Lake, minutes away from Allen, Wylie, McKinney and Plano. 

Twilight Hollow Twilight Camp

Come join our Campers in Camelot at Twilight Hollow 2022 as we are transported to medieval times at Bob Woodruff Park in Plano! Immerse yourself in hands-on activities such as ziplining, archery, cookout night and, (for older Girl Scouts), hatchet throwing!! You may even see some falconry, swordplay or leatherwork! Girls are organized into units by the grade she will be entering in the Fall 2022 school year. At a pre-camp meeting the week of May 16-22, units will choose their program activities from a list of program choices.

Twilight Oaks Twilight Camp

Ahoy Matey! Join in the fun at Twilight Oaks this year for Treasure Island. Come see new sights, learn new skills, and explore new lands. Leather stamping, silk tie dying, camp fire cooking, catapult building, and more await you on the journey. Spend the week collecting clues to solve the mystery of the buried treasure. Twilight Oaks is held in a private park where we are surrounded by nature, wide open spaces and hiking trails, but with indoor bathrooms. Your adventure awaits!

Calling all Mermaids and Pirates! Take a journey Under the Sea at Camp Kinship. Stay cool playing water-themed games, exploring the mysteries of the ocean depths, tuning into your inner mermaid, and practicing some pirate lingo. Show off your archery skills at the range and camp out with us on Thursday night for a swashbuckling good time!

Breckinridge Twilight Camp


June 27-July 1, 4:30pm - 8:30pm
Breckinridge Park, Entrance C, 2651 Brand Rd., Richardson

Come to Breckinridge Park where your favorite games become larger than life! Join us and Roxy the Raccoon outside under the trees as we have fun & play games on a grand scale. You will explore different kinds of games as well as shoot archery, tie-dye a shirt, learn about Nature with Sequoia, go on a scavenger hunt, make and trade SWAPs, eat nightly snow cones, plus earn a badge. Save the best for last and come play with us this summer at Breckinridge Twilight Camp!

Lone Star Twilight Camp


July 11-14, 6:00pm - 10:00pm
Camp Whispering Cedars, 6010 Whispering Cedar Dr., Dallas

Come join us for our first ever session of Lone Star Twilight Camp at Camp Whispering Cedars! Girls will enjoy four full evenings of swimming, archery or slingshots, nature hikes, and other well loved Girl Scout traditions. Our older girls will also get to wrap up the week with an overnight in Templeton Lodge!  We can't wait to see you there!

Day/Twilight Camp Registration Categories

Day/Twilight Camper (entering grades K-7 in Fall 2022) - $60

Girls entering grades K – 7 in the fall of 2020 will sign up to attend day/twilight camp as a “Camper”.  Campers will be assigned to a unit of girls of a similar age level to participate in the camp activities during the week.

Day/Twilight Camp Aide (entering grade 8-12 in Fall 2022) - $30

Camp Aides are girls who have been attending day/twilight camp for several years and now have the opportunity to serve at camp in a leadership capacity.   Girls registering for this position will have been working with the Day/Twilight Adult Program Staff in the months prior to camp registration opening. Camp Aides will take on various leadership roles responsibilities that will help to grow and develop their skills and confidence in working with and planning activities for younger campers.  

Day/Twilight Camp Youth Staff (entering grades 10-12 in Fall 2022) - $0

Camp Youth Staff are girls who started last fall to work with the Day/Twilight Camp Adult team to begin planning day/twilight camp. Working as part of the Youth Camp Staff can be as simple as planning, organizing and running 1 or 2 activity stations, to working in a unit at camp to lead the activities under the guidance of an adult mentor or working together to help the team organize camp for the week.

Day/Twilight Adult Volunteer - $0

Adults are invited and needed to register and attend camp as a volunteer staff member. Adults will need to be a registered Girl Scout member, complete an annual background check; complete Tr402: Protecting Our Girls training; and complete the Day/Twilight Camp Specific Training.

Tagalong - Boy/Preschool Girl of Adult Volunteer - $30

Adults volunteering to work at camp have the option to bring their other children who are not of an age to be a Girl Scout with them to camp. The children will receive programming appropriate to their age group and participate in many of the camp activities.  Boys and girls ages 3-5 who are toilet trained and boys ages 6-13 may attend on the days their parent works at camp. Please contact the camp director of the camp you intend to volunteer with to get more details.

Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance may be requested for any registered Girl Scout living in the 32 counties served by Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas. GSNETX makes every effort to assist as many girls as possible from our allocated funds. Families with financial situations that may prevent them from participating in the day/twilight camp program can request assistance for all or part of the session fee.  

If requesting Financial Assistance for Day/Twilight Camp:

  1. Complete the GSNETX Day/Twilight Camp Financial Assistance.
  2. The application process will indicate the amount granted and the balance that is due by the applicant.
  3. You must pay the balance due less the amount granted to complete the application request.
  4. You will receive an email confirmation for your payment and application.
  5. You will be notified by email after Council processes your registration.
  6. Incomplete requests will not be processed.
