Product Sales CEOs

The Product Sales CEOs (Cookie Entrepreneur Officers) is a leadership group started and managed by the Product Sales (cookie) team. Its purpose is to provide a familiar space for girls to develop and grow their leadership skills with fellow Girl Scouts.

These CEOs are a critical part of the successful implementation of many Product Sales programs, and by actively participating in this group, members gain invaluable skills and experiences that will benefit you not only during the Cookie Program but also in your future endeavors.

Overview

The Product Sales Older Girl Leadership Group, go by Cookie Entrepreneur Officers (CEOs). It is an exciting opportunity for Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors to enhance their leadership skills, foster creativity, collaborate, and actively participate in leadership projects related to the Cookie Program. Here are some key aspects of the program:

Requirements toggle arrow

Must be a Cadette, Senior or Ambassador.
Must be willing to lead small groups of girls.
Meet all attendance requirement as determined by squad.
Must exhibit conduct consistent with the Girl Scout Promise and the Girl Scout Law.
Reliable transportation to and from activities.

The Cookie Entrepreneur Officers are divided into three leadership groups dependent on their leadership skills they display and develop throughout the program year. Each group has specific requirements. Requirements are adjusted yearly based on the needs and number of opportunities the Product Sales teams has to offer.

Thin Mint Squad: Advanced leader
Samoas Squad: Intermediate leader
Trefoils Squad: Entry leader

Does participation in activities count towards school and/or outside club community service hour requirements? toggle arrow

Yes, you can use certain events towards your community service hours for outside needs.

When does the program year begin and end? toggle arrow

The program year runs with the average school year, September through April, and requirements are divided into semesters. Additional opportunities, on an invite only basis, also occur May though August.

Can girls earn badges? toggle arrow

Although programming is not centered around Girl Scout badge curriculum, there are many crossovers that could result in girls earning a badge.

Where do the activities take place? toggle arrow

There will be both in-person and virtual programming opportunities. In-person activities occur most often at the JoAnn Fogg Service Center, along with other Girl Scout facilities.

Is there a fee to join? toggle arrow

There is no monetary commitment, but there is a time commitment in order to get the most out of being a CEO.

Thank you for your interest in the Product Sales CEO Group. The application process for the 2026-2027 program year is outlined below:

Application opened June 3. Click here or the pink apply button to apply today!
Application closes June 21 at 11:59 p.m.
Interviews will begin the week of June 22 through July 8.
Final decisions will not be made until all applicants have been interviewed.
Invitations to join will be sent out during the week of July 13-17.
CEO Kickoff event for members will take place on August 29. More details will be shared with confirmed members.
